Our new site in Czechowice-Dziedzice is a leading company dealing in the development of innovative drive components for electromobility. We are a pioneer of these technologies in Poland, thanks to which we contribute to ensuring a clean, low-emission future in the automotive industry.

Currently for our Valeo Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice we recruit Platform Buyer.

Your Challenges:

* Driving DTC (design-to-cost) reductions on development projects
* Enforcing sourcing decisions defined at platform level across all development projects
* Leading supplier selection processes (SoCo) and issuing related documentation (e.g. VRF, Letter of Nomination) in line with agreed commercial frameworks
* Collaborating with project teams to define and finalize contractual and logistical requirements
* Ensuring suppliers fully understand local and project-specific requirements
* Monitoring supplier capacity and anticipating risks related to production ramp-up
* Assessing supplier risks (technical, quality, capacity, financial) and implementing mitigation plans with cross-functional teams
* Coordinating APQP processes with project teams and supplier quality organizations
* Tracking supplier performance against project milestones (PQA)
* Managing communication flows between project teams and suppliers, ensuring proper documentation storage
* Identifying and driving cost optimization and productivity initiatives at global platform level
* Ensuring compliance with contracts (LTA, price agreements) throughout the product lifecycle
* Supporting successful transition to serial production (SOP)
* Monitoring purchasing KPIs and driving action plans to meet cost targets (CAA, PTBV)
* Supporting project buyers to ensure alignment with commodity strategy, localization needs, and supply base security

Join our team if you have:
* Experience in purchasing, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of sourcing processes and supplier management
* Ability to assess risks and manage cross-functional projects
* Fluent English (working in an international environment)
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Familiarity with purchasing tools / ERP systems is a plus
* Technical education is an advantage, but not required
* Proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude
