Description du poste:
Junior Banking Operations Analyst is a junior level role responsible for execution of transactions and participation in complex processes. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments and trade transactions.
Responsibilities:
* Process domestic and cross-border transactions within different payment schemes, including outgoing, incoming and internal payments.
* Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements.
* Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, experience on the job and procedural knowledge.
* Oversee pending cases and ensure that all unresolved cases are brought to completion.
* Perform daily reconciliation and matching of Nostro items, following up on outstanding items.
* Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients/vendors.
* Contribute to and collaborate with Fund Transfer Operations projects as needed.
* Develop an understanding of how the Fund Transfer Operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's/University degree
* Preferably 1-2 years of experience in finance/banking sector, such as:
* Payments execution
* Funds settlements
* Investment Operations
* Basic knowledge of financial industry products
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* SWIFT knowledge would be a plus
* Ability to handle and manage large volumes of data
* Advanced level of English (both verbal and written)
