Description du poste:

We are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Finance Planning Analyst to join the R&D Functions FP&A Team focused on Internal Project Expenses.
You will provide financial oversight and business partnership to senior R&D leaders, owning detailed department budgets, forecasts and month-end financial activities that underpin R&D smart resource allocation through a 3-year annual planning process.
R&D FP&A Team combines passion for analysis with the complexities of guiding various stakeholders through the difficult decisions of optimizing our portfolio.

Key responsibilities:
* Build and maintain annual budgets via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), automated forecasting tools, partnering closely with embedded finance, R&D Finance & Portfolio Value Team and R&D Business.
* Provide analytical support and manage processes related to annual budgets, quarterly forecasting cycles and ad-hoc scenarios.
* Manage financial processes to deliver transparent, assumption-driven, analytical expertise to effectively support project spend and assist in portfolio management to the best capacity.
* Review month-end results ensuring that accruals and reclasses are calculated and posted as required within materiality levels.
* Produce and maintain timely reporting, dashboards and month-end variance commentary that highlights key under/overspends and the long-term impact of risks & opportunities.
* Identify, propose and implement process and system improvements and automation opportunities to enhance data quality and efficiency.
* Take accountability for communicating finance practices, issues and opportunities to financial leadership and internal stakeholders, challenge assumptions constructively.
* Support ongoing projects where expertise on R&D processes is required.
* Seek for algorithmic business drivers and AI/ML initiatives by translating technical requirements into financial implications and delivering relevant analyses.
* Verification of ad hoc cases of higher complexity with cross-functional teams as per the business requirements related to the area dynamic.

Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
* Minimum 3 years post-graduation specialized accounting experience, with strong FP&A exposure.
* Strong financial modelling, forecasting and MEC knowledge.
* Hands-on experience with SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
* Advanced Excel proficiency and experience applying other data modelling tools highly advantageous.
* Prior experience with Pharma industry / project work.
* Comfortable working independently, developing a customer-focused relationship with stakeholders, interacting with project managers and finance directors and yet having the confidence and self-assurance to challenge assumptions.
* Great problem-solving skills and ability to create & effectively recommend alternative solutions to ensure business continuity.
* Fluent English

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 127,500 to PLN 212,500 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer's discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave. More detailed information on the total reward package applicable to your role will be supplied during the recruitment process.
