Description du poste:

The Mid-Level AR Accountant will take an active participation role in Accounts Receivable team by managing the invoicing process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with a solid foundation in AR accounting, looking to further develop their skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
* Take charge of the preparation and generation of customer invoices and credit notes in accordance with company policies and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain and oversee accurate records of customer transactions and account balances in the accounting system, ensuring data integrity.
* Support the reconciliation of customer accounts, including investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain positive customer relationships.
* Collaborate with the finance team to perform month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
* Prepare AR reports, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts, and monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment while resolving any discrepancies with customers.
* Participate in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in the AR function, identifying opportunities for optimization.
* Provide effective customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, creating positive relationships.
* Support the AR Team Leader in various strategic projects and tasks as required, contributing to the effective functioning of the finance department.

To fulfill the role, we imagine that you have:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification.
* 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role, especially in a shared services or multinational environment.
* Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively.
* Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* Capable of prioritizing tasks and completing projects on time in a stimulating work atmosphere.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
* Strategic problem-solving abilities, with a motivated approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
* Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset, contributing positively to team dynamics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
* Experience with accounting software, particularly D365 or similar ERP systems.
* Fluency in English.
