DATA ANALYST - FINANCE REPORTING TEAM

FINANCE / DATA & ANALYTICS

As our Data Analyst, you will play a key role in modernising Coty's global Finance reporting landscape, designing intuitive dashboards and analytics that enable accurate, timely, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Data Analyst, you will design, develop, and deploy global Finance dashboards supporting Actuals, Forecasts, and performance insights. Partnering closely with Finance and the Reporting Team, you will ensure data accuracy, automation, and a high-quality analytics experience, helping to establish Finance reporting as a true single source of truth.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Dashboard & Report Development

* Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for Actuals, Budget, Forecast, and key financial KPIs

* Apply Coty's Power BI templates to ensure consistent UI/UX and branding

* Implement advanced DAX calculations and optimized visuals aligned with Finance needs

* Adapt dashboards to meet the requirements of different Finance stakeholder groups

2. Data Modelling & Governance

* Connect reporting solutions to governed data sources in Databricks and certified semantic models

* Validate data mappings, hierarchies, and reconciliations against official Finance results

* Ensure adherence to BI governance standards and KPI definitions

* Support consistent and reliable use of Finance data across reports

3. Testing, Quality Control & Deployment

* Conduct end-to-end testing of dashboards (filters, calculations, security roles)

* Configure and manage Row Level Security (RLS)

* Publish dashboards via Power BI Apps and manage controlled roll-outs

* Ensure high standards of accuracy, documentation, and testing discipline

4. Business Partnership & Insight Delivery

* Collaborate closely with Finance teams and the Reporting Team Lead to gather requirements

* Translate business questions into clear analytical solutions

* Present insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders

* Act as a trusted analytics partner to global Finance teams

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

* Identify opportunities to automate reporting and enhance analytics capabilities

* Contribute to the Finance Data & AI roadmap

* Support further standardisation, governance, and adoption of self-service analytics

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As an analytically strong and business-oriented professional, you enjoy working at the intersection of Finance, data, and technology.

Your skills and experience include:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field

* Experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards for Finance reporting

* Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modelling

* Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and performance management

* Strong business acumen with the ability to understand Finance reporting needs

* Fluent English

Nice to have:

* Experience with SQL and/or Python

* Exposure to global or multinational environments

* Familiarity with BI governance frameworks and KPI standardisation
