Lead a new Sales Support organisation at Maersk
Maersk is a global leader in integrated logistics, transforming the way the world trades. As part of our continued growth and operating model evolution, we are building a new Sales Support organisation in Warsaw - and we are looking for an experienced Sales Support Manager to lead it.
This is a high-visibility leadership role with real strategic impact. You will lead a team of approximately 30 German-speaking sales support professionals, playing a critical role in enabling sales effectiveness, supporting customer success, and ensuring seamless operational delivery for the business.
You will operate at the intersection of Sales, Customer Experience, Pricing, Operations, and Global Service Centres, acting as a trusted partner to stakeholders while building a strong, high-performing team culture in Warsaw.

What you'll be doing
Lead and develop a high-performing team
* Manage, coach and inspire a team of around 30 Sales Support professionals
* Create a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus
* Set clear goals and performance expectations, ensuring strong delivery against KPIs and SLAs
* Coach team members to improve capability, confidence, and impact
* Foster a psychologically safe and engaging environment where people can thrive
Drive operational excellence
* Lead day-to-day execution of transactional and commercial support processes
* Ensure work is delivered with quality, speed, and accuracy
* Monitor performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
* Drive discipline around process adherence, documentation, and service standards
* Ensure effective workload planning and resource allocation across the team
Partner with stakeholders across the business
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Pricing, Product, and Operations
* Build strong relationships and trusted partnerships across functions and geographies
* Ensure the team is aligned to business priorities and customer expectations
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve service delivery and business outcomes
Lead change and continuous improvement
* Support the establishment and scaling of a new team in Warsaw
* Drive process improvements, system adoption, and operational efficiencies
* Identify gaps in the customer journey and implement enhancements to improve experience
* Lead or contribute to transformation initiatives, projects, and change activity
* Help future-proof the team by upskilling capability and embedding best practice
What we're looking for
* Fluent German and English (mandatory)
* Proven experience leading large teams in a sales support, customer operations, customer success, shared services, or similar environment
* Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, shipping, or global trade
* Strong track record of managing performance through KPIs, SLAs, coaching, and operational discipline
* Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions in a matrix environment
* Ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and transformation
* Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset
* Experience driving continuous improvement, quality, and process optimisation
* Confidence, credibility, and presence to work effectively with senior stakeholders
* A proactive, energetic leadership style with a strong sense of ownership
Nice to have
* Exposure to GSC / SSC / BPO environments
* Experience building or stabilising teams during transitions or organisational change

We offer a salary of 17,000 - 22,000 dependant on experience, plus an annual bonus of 10%.
