Newly opened, Andaz Lisbon is an exciting luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and represents a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon.
Located in the heart of Lisbon's vibrant Baixa district, along the city's main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal's major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).
The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. Andaz Lisbon is looking for a Door Host to join its team!
The role will be responsible for being the first physical point of contact with guests upon their arrival at the hotel. This position ensures a warm and efficient welcome, delivering an arrival experience that reflects the lifestyle concept of sophistication, authenticity, and personalization. The Door Host acts with an elegant demeanor, strong attention to detail, and proactivity, anticipating guest needs from the moment they arrive until their departure.
Main Responsibilities:
· Warmly welcome guests upon arrival with courtesy and professionalism.
· Assist with luggage during arrival and departure, ensuring careful and efficient handling.
· Identify VIP guests, frequent guests, or those with special needs and provide tailored assistance.
· Escort guests to their rooms, briefly and courteously introducing the hotel's facilities and services.
· Maintain organization of the lobby, entrance hall, and exterior areas under their responsibility.
· Coordinate with Reception, Concierge, and Valet to ensure smooth arrival and departure flow.
· Assist with internal transport of packages, luggage, or personal belongings as requested.
· Provide basic information about hotel services and local attractions using warm and empathetic communication.
· Ensure the safety of guests' belongings during transport and storage.
· Adhere to hotel standards regarding conduct, personal presentation, and hospitality

Profil requis du candidat:

· High school diploma (or equivalent).
· Previous experience in luxury hospitality is an advantage.
· Fluent in English and Portuguese (additional languages are a plus).
· Strong communication skills, friendliness, and professional posture.
· Physical ability to lift and move luggage.
· Schedule flexibility (shift work including weekends and holidays).
· Service mindset; attention to detail; discretion and reliability; proactivity and agility; teamwork; interpersonal communication.
