Job Description:

- Leading of and participating in projects / development tasks delivering best in class tread material performance, sustainability and cost based on customer requirements
- Development of material and relevant process specifications ensuring optimized and robust product performance
- Transfer and implementation of new technologies and raw materials into commercial specialty tread compounds by improving technology understanding enabling improved product performance, sustainability and cost
- Support all quality related processes to ensure the highest quality experience for our customers in cooperation with QM and other required functions
- Ensure global health and safety standards in current and future developments
- Building and extending know-how regarding tread compounding considering recipes and performance-relevant processes and documentation thereof in the compounding design guide
- Consulting of colleagues regarding tread material related topics

Qualifications:

- Master degree in chemistry or natural sciences
- Ideally, first professional experience in compounding and / or rubber chemistry
- High customer focus and interface management competence
- Project management skills (preferred)
▪ Solid computer skills and Office tools;
- Analytical, goal-oriented, and innovative approach
- Very good communication and interaction skill
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Portuguese language skills, it is a plus
- Willing to travel
- Intercultural competency along with clear and open communication abilities that support the growth of diversity
