As Category Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing Team Lead, you will guide a team of Plant Advisors while steering month-end close and planning cycles, turning complex plant inputs into clear, timely consolidated analysis and reporting that leaders can act on. This hybrid, Bucharest-based opportunity puts a confident, people-first finance leader at the heart of Manufacturing performance. This is a fixed term contract (maternity cover).
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Manufacturing and Supply Chain Finance, you'll bring visibility to what's driving results, spot risks early, and champion smart decisions with both empathy and edge.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
Trusted business partnering & variance storytelling: Partner with the Senior Manager Finance Manufacturing and key stakeholders to surface meaningful variances versus budget/forecast, translate drivers into crisp insights, and align on practical risk-mitigation plans that protect performance.
* Leading a high-performing Plant Advisor team: Lead a team of Plant Advisors to ensure consolidated reporting is accurate, on time, and decision-ready-setting clear expectations, removing blockers, and creating a steady cadence of delivery.
* Coaching, feedback & everyday leadership: Provide hands-on supervision, support, and monthly performance feedback-balancing decisive direction with a supportive style that helps each team member grow in confidence and capability.
* Owning month-end, outlook & consolidated Risks & Opportunities: Drive the month-end close and strategic outlook/budget process for plants to follow, delivering sharp commentary and consolidating Risks & Opportunities at Category level to keep leadership aligned and ahead of the curve.
* Challenging in COP and tracking savings with discipline: Act as a key participant and constructive challenger in monthly COP calls, consolidating inputs from Manufacturing plants, and coordinating full savings tracking-validating initiatives, highlighting R&O, and keeping targets visible to the Category Leadership Team.
We're Looking for Someone With
* Degree/Masters in Accountancy or Finance plus a professional Accountancy qualification
* Financial Planning & Cost Analysis experience (Supply Chain Manufacturing experience preferred)
* Strong technical capability-advanced Excel and SAP; Anaplan is desirable
* Excellent communication, able to prioritise and work on own initiative; fluent English (written and verba
