Description du poste:

Change world of tomorrow with us.

Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 20,000 employees and the four business segments. With its global production sites, R&D, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries. At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.

We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn't just an expansion; it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.

Oradea will become one of Siemens' key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.

Based in Oradea, we are looking for a Environmental Protection, Health & Safety Professional
to join our team.

This will be your impact:

* You will design and coordinate the implementation of internal EHS guidelines and processes within the organization.
* You will develop EHS concepts within your area of responsibility and independently implement overarching strategies (e.g., QM&EHS Strategy, DEGREE, Healthy & Safe @ Siemens).
* You will monitor and report on our EHS goals, define measures for continuous improvement in case of deviations, and ensure their consistent implementation.
* You will ensure compliance with all state and local EHS laws and regulations, stay up-to-date with evolving laws and industry best practices; you will analyze and report on changes in relevant EHS laws and regulations and recommend changes for internal standards.
* You will be responsible for introducing and maintaining an Integrated Management System according to ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001, ensuring the timely execution of internal and external EHS audits, and implementing derived measures.
* You will maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, compliance reports, and incident investigations.
* You will prepare regular external EHS reports for official authorities and management, as required, and maintain operational contact with external authorities.
* You will investigate accidents, injuries, near-misses, and environmental incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
* You will conduct assessments and inspections of facilities and operations to identify potential hazards and environmental risks and develop and maintain emergency response plans.
* You will monitor environmental impact, including waste management, air and water quality, and energy consumption, and recommend initiatives to reduce environmental footprint and improve sustainability.
* You will promote an open EHS culture through targeted programs regarding safe work practices, emergency response procedures, hazardous material handling, and regulatory compliance, where leaders and employees act as role models and share best practices/lessons learned comprehensively and promptly.
* You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety measures are integrated into company policies, processes, and new projects.
* You will foster a culture where all employees at the site prioritize environmental care and sustainability in their actions and mindset.

This is how you'll win us over:

* You hold a degree in occupational health and safety, ecology and environmental protection, mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
* You have extensive knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components, along with their manufacturing processes.
* You possess deep expertise and years of experience in EHS management, including methods like incident investigation and 8D, and you apply these confidently and effectively.
* Ideally, you are a trained auditor and have completed training as a health and safety specialist or safety officer, with solid knowledge of environmental protection and sustainability.
* You demonstrate strong results orientation, leadership, communication skills, initiative, strategic thinking, analytical and conceptual abilities, and assertiveness.
* Proficiency in English is essential for this role, as you will be working in an international environment.
