About Hayu
Launched in 2016, Hayu is the first all-reality subscription video-on-demand service of its kind - available in 45 markets globally including the UK, Ireland, Australia, Nordics, Canada, Benelux, Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore on a full array of devices (mobile, tablet, laptop & connected TVs) and at www.hayu.com. Over 300 shows and over 10,000 episodes are available to stream or can be downloaded to watch-on-the-go, including The Real Housewives, Below Deck and Million Dollar Listing franchises. The majority of US shows debut on the service the same day as their US launch.
Job Description:
Overview
This role provides support to the Business & Legal Affairs (BLA) team.
The BLA team supports the Hayu business on all matters related to the operation, distribution and marketing of the Hayu service including: (i) drafting and negotiation of agreements for software and technical services, commercial distribution, content acquisition, marketing and PR services, amongst others; (ii) sponsorship, fan events and other marketing activations; and (iii) tracking of relevant consumer laws, audio-visual regulations and other applicable laws/regulations within the Territories that Hayu operates.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will vary (and depend on relevant experience) but may include:
* Supporting Senior Counsel with legal work required for the Hayu Marketing teams (e.g. drafting of marketing agency agreements/statements of work, helping to manage various legal touchpoints on fan events and other marketing activations);
* Supporting Senior Counsel with legal work required for the Hayu Product team (e.g. review and amendment of technical product statements of work/order forms (e.g. for SAAS products and other technical products/services));
* Drafting competition terms and price promo terms (and ensuring compliance with relevant local laws);
* Keeping team vendor lists and tracker documents up to date;
* Helping to track and summarise legal and regulatory updates; and
* Supporting initiatives to streamline and introduce efficiencies to the team's legal work (including by the use of AI tools).

Qualifications:
Skills & Experience
* Paralegal with in-house experience;
* Ideally some experience in some or all of the following areas: marketing, consumer and/or tech.
* Experience of implementing new processes using AI tools;
* Excellent attention to detail;
* Strong written and communication skills;
* Ability to use initiative and anticipate needs;
* Proactive, clear thinker, able to prioritise and manage a broad and fast-moving workload;
* Ability and willingness to develop good working relationships with employees and clients within our Legal and Business Affairs team and across the business;
