We're on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Management team at HMP Addiewell - a unique working environment where no two days are the same. This is more than just a maintenance role - it's a chance to be part of a team that supports safer, stronger communities.

As part of Sodexo Justice Services, you'll work in a dynamic and purposeful setting, contributing to the rehabilitation and positive progression of those in our care. HMP Addiewell is a learning prison, where we focus on education, skills development, and creating second chances.

What You'll Do

* Deliver a first-class, professional FM service across the prison estate.
* Support the FM team and Maintenance Supervisor with day-to-day operations.
* Allocate and manage tasks via Global Maximo, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and Sodexo policies.
* Keep detailed records of all maintenance tasks and report any issues or defects.
* Be part of our on-call rota, work alongside external contractors, and maintain trade and environmental standards.

What We're Looking For

* A recognised apprenticeship and relevant trade qualifications.
* A proactive, systematic approach to work - with an eye for safety and quality.
* Ability to work independently or within a team, maintaining high standards.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Willingness to assist other trades and take on a variety of maintenance tasks.
