Job Description:

* Job Title - Laboratory Instrumentation Manager
* Job Type - Temporary - expected 12 months
* Location - Cambridge - 5 days per week on site
* Salary - Starting from £34,000 pa
* Industry - Health & Nutrition - Food
Overview of the role:
* To manage the maintenance and operation of instrumentation in the laboratory to enable high standards of analytical performance, ensuring that requirements of ISO 17025 are met
* Manage, lead and support a team of analysts within the instrumentation room - driving compliance, and continuous improvement
* Demonstrate compliance with company approved test methods, procedures, and quality systems by maintaining organized and auditable systems
* Oversee calibration of equipment and quality requirements are met in the department

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has had experience in GC-MS and LC-MS within a food lab setting.
You will also have the following:
* Degree in Chemistry or related field
* Understanding of food testing methods
* Experience in leading a team
* Proficient in the use of LIMs
* Full driving license for use in the UK
