Job title: SAP Business Process Expert
Location: ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow (hybrid)
Salary: from £59,200, up to 15% bonus, private medical cover & other excellent benefits
Help us create a better future, quicker
ScottishPower is looking for experienced Business Process Experts to join our Customer Business Centre of Excellence, playing a pivotal role in shaping and optimising the IT applications and technology that underpin our customer operations. This role sits at the forefront of business transformation, focused on delivering measurable improvements in system performance, reliability, and customer experience across critical platforms.
What you'll be doing
You will take ownership of end-to-end process flows within our applications, translating strategic objectives into robust, scalable solutions and ensuring alignment between business outcomes and supporting technology. You will lead process design and implementation across the full lifecycle, from initial discovery and definition through to production deployment and continuous improvement.
Collaboration is central to the role. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, product owners, architects, delivery teams, and third-party vendors to ensure processes are fit-for-purpose, controlled, and aligned to regulatory and operational requirements. You will also prioritise demand based on business value, risk, and customer impact, ensuring focus on the highest-value opportunities.
You will act as a system process authority within your area, owning how business processes are configured, executed, and governed within applications such as SAP, CRM, and customer platforms. You will provide leadership and guidance on best practice, standardisation, and optimisation of process design within systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reuse across the technology landscape.
What you'll bring
We are looking for individuals with proven experience in business process design within enterprise systems, or similar roles in complex IT environments. You will be confident engaging at senior levels across both business and technology teams, with the ability to translate process requirements into system-driven solutions and influence design decisions. Experience working in Agile or transformation environments is important. Strong working knowledge of platforms such as SAP, CRM, telecoms systems, APIs, and data models is highly beneficial.
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping how technology delivers customer processes at ScottishPower, driving tangible improvements in system performance, control, compliance, and customer experience within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What's in it for you
As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits. With our pension scheme, we'll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%.
