We are currently seeking an NMR Spectroscopist to join our Analytical Support group. Working primarily on small molecules, you will be required to organise, perform and report on a broad range of analytical studies in support of our internal chemistry functions and contract analytical projects.

Job Description:

The position requires proficiency in NMR instrument operation, processing software, interpretation of spectra and application of multi­­dimensional NMR methods for structural elucidation and characterisation of organic compounds. Experience of working with Bruker NMR spectrometers (including maintenance and upkeep) and a good working knowledge of organic chemistry would be advantageous. Experience of working in either a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or graduate in chemistry or related field with hands on experience in NMR spectroscopy (minimum 1 to 5 years industry experience).
A key team player and proactive individual with the ability to successfully deliver results within tight deadlines and keen attention to detail, you will possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-focused approach.
