Job Purpose:
Responsible for the achievement of sales- and margin targets in the defined sales area (PD&M - product design & Manufacturing). Drives the implementation of the Autodesk PD&M strategy with assigned VAR partners.

Responsibilities:

* Focus on/drives achievement of results of sales targets in the PD&M business together with the selected VAR customers by preparing, arranging and reinforcing customer visits
* advises partners and customers with the particular Autodesk market groups during projects
* acquisition of end-user projects for partners, i.e. end customer acquisition
* supports/works with the reseller in preparing business- and marketing plans
* assistance of the customer in various marketing activities (fairs, in-house events, presentations,…)
* establishes and regularly maintains relationships with Autodesk personnel
* actively works with VAR partners
* preparation of a monthly/quarterly/annual forecast (internal/external) together with partners/customers
* supports/works with the team in preparing AOP, Autodesk Business Plans etc.
* department specific administrative jobs
* continuous coordination with other functions inside Datech

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

* academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
* several years of relevant work experience in direct sales and/or distribution of CAD products. Marketing know-how in Autodesk- resp. competitor-channel
* Solid understanding of Products, Technologies in the PD&M market (Inventor, Fusion, Vault)
* professional usage of office software
* good command of English (spoken and in writing)
* good commercial skills
* good presentation and negotiation skills
