Position Overview We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team and support a large-scale ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) solution dedicated to the Power trading business. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate with a specialization in finance, eager to start a career at the crossroads of financial markets and IT. In this role, you will work in direct contact with front-office traders, operators, and middle office teams, helping them use their tools effectively, troubleshooting issues, performing testing activities, and contributing to the evolution of the trading platform. Key Responsibilities Business Support & Analysis * Act as the first point of contact for users (traders, operators, middle office) regarding functional questions or issues related to the ETRM solution. * Investigate, diagnose, and document problems encountered by the business. * Liaise with technical teams to follow up on incident resolution and ensure proper communication with users. Testing & Quality Assurance * Perform functional testing during system upgrades, bug fixes, and new feature releases. * Create and maintain test scenarios and test plans. * Validate the correctness of implemented solutions and ensure alignment with business expectations. Functional Design & Continuous Improvement * Participate in workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements. * Draft clear and detailed functional specifications for enhancements or new features. * Contribute to system configuration, data analysis, and workflow improvements. * Support the roadmap of the trading platform by helping prioritize business needs. Required Skills & Qualifications * Engineering degree in IT with specialization in finance, financial engineering, energy markets, or related fields. * Strong interest in financial markets, energy trading, and ETRM systems. * First exposure (internship or academic project) to trading environments, risk management tools, or market finance is a plus. * Solid analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset. * Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams. * Curiosity, proactiveness, and willingness to learn complex trading processes. * Good command of English (French is a plus).
