What will you be involved in?
Our Graduate Communications Programme is designed for graduates who are curious about communications, business and technology, and passionate about telling stories that matter. You will gain hands-on experience across internal communications, external communications, public affairs and corporate storytelling within a global technology company, supported by a dedicated manager throughout the programme. The programme is built around six-month rotations across three communications disciplines, helping you build broad experience and practical skills:
* Internal Communications: helping colleagues understand business priorities and connect with leaders through colleague updates, content, events and leadership communications.
* External Communications: supporting media relations, storytelling and reputation-building activities, including media monitoring, briefing materials, reporting and campaigns.
* Public Affairs & Stakeholder Communications: supporting engagement with external stakeholders, stakeholder research and policy monitoring.
During your time on the programme, you could also be involved in:
* Telling stories about Sage colleagues, customers, partners and communities
* Creating content for internal and external channels
* Supporting communications planning, reporting and administration
* Coordinating projects, including meetings, approvals and timelines
* Measuring and reporting the impact of communications activity
This programme is designed to give you meaningful, hands-on experience from day one, with structured onboarding, regular coaching and feedback, a personalised development plan, and the support and space to learn, ask questions and grow. By the end of the programme, you will have developed practical skills in writing, planning, stakeholder management and corporate affairs, alongside a strong understanding of how communications supports a global business.
What we're looking for:
To be eligible for this role, you'll need to hold a degree in any discipline. Previous communications experience is not required; relevant experience from education, placements, volunteering, societies or part-time work is beneficial, but enthusiasm and potential are most important.
* A curious mindset and eagerness to learn
* A genuine interest in communications, business and technology
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* An organised, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines
* A proactive, collaborative working style
* Openness to receiving feedback and developing new skills
