The Opportunity
Adobe is the industry leader in Experience Management. In Basel, we build Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), which helps our customers design, manage, and deliver exceptional experiences to power their digital businesses!
As a Graduate Software Engineer in the AEM Cloud Foundation team, you will contribute to designing, implementing, and operating the technical backbone of AEM Cloud Service. You'll work on challenging computer science and software engineering problems alongside a team of highly skilled engineers, learning how to build innovative cloud-native services and operate them at scale.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Foundational programming skills in JavaScript and familiarity with at least one other language (Go or Python is a plus).
* Basic understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP, TCP, DNS) and interest in learning about Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
* Enthusiasm for cloud technologies and willingness to learn cloud architecture and operations.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Passion for AI and emerging technologies, with curiosity to explore how they can shape new products and experiences.
Bonus qualifications (nice to have, not required):
* Exposure to container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
* Familiarity with logging or monitoring technologies (e.g., Loki, Elasticsearch).
What You'll Do:
* Learn and contribute to systems that handle billions of content requests per day.
* Participate in all aspects of the software development process, applying best practices with guidance from experienced mentors.
* Collaborate with various teams to understand and support the adoption of services.
* Experiment with fast prototyping and explore emerging trends, including AI-driven solutions and modern cloud approaches, to co-innovate with customers.
