Your tasks
Whether it's a mandatory or voluntary internship - As an intern (m/f/d), you will definitely benefit from attractive remuneration and will support the team with the following responsible tasks from 01.07.2026:

* Support in the analysis and development of mobile access architectures (e.g. 5G, RAN, O-RAN)
* Collaboration in the design and evaluation of innovative solutions for mobile access networks
* Analysis of complex network structures and derivation of optimization potential
* Support in creating architectural concepts and technical documentation
* Participation in projects for the development of modern telecommunications infrastructures
* Close cooperation with teams of experts and support in day-to-day operations

Your profile
You are studying electrical engineering, communications engineering, information technology, telecommunications, a comparable degree program or are in a gap year.

You also have the following knowledge and skills:

* In-depth understanding of 5G network architecture
* Solid knowledge of Radio Access Network (RAN) principles
* Familiarity with O-RAN concepts (Open RAN)
* Strong analytical thinking skills
* An aptitude for conceptual design
* Excellent problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have Skills
* 4G/LTE network architecture
* Network virtualization (NFV/SDN) skills
* Understanding the cellular core network (EPC/5GC)
* Basics of TCP/IP networks
