Job Description:

* During your assignment, you will conduct research on mobile communication networks, i.e. 5G/6G.
* Specifically, you will support our standardisation activities in 3GPP or other standardisation bodies.
* The tasks will involve reading relevant documents, analysing them and providing a summary and conclusion of the reading.
* Finally, you may also need to search for and find relevant state-of-the-art academic papers, 3GPP documents and relevant patents. You will then review the documents and present them in a well-organised manner.

Qualifications:

* Education: master studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
* Experience and Knowledge: good background on wireless communications (Physical and MAC layer knowledge is a plus), knowledge in IoT and in sensor networks, experience in 3GPP structure and documentation is a big plus.
* Personality and Working Practice: a person, who has excellent organizational skills, pays attention to detail and able to meet deadlines as well as to think logically, create solutions and make informed decisions, willingness to work collaboratively in a research environment
* Languages: business fluent in English

Additional Information:

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months - 10 h/week
