Internship: Electrical Assembler (4-month) - Perth, ON, Canada

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler Intern.

What you'll do:

Position Overview:
Responsible for assembly and wiring standard & engineered control assemblies, as well as full functional and electrical testing on products within our Modification Shop.

Essential functions:
* Work from drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams as well as other verbal or written instructions and perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
* Determine wiring sequence, layout and location.
* Perform testing to verify work.
* Work to CSA, UL, CEC codes and company quality requirements.
* Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of work area.
* Perform other related duties as assigned in the facility as required.
* Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values, Code of Ethics as well as safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
* Enrolled and Returning to an applicable post-secondary program.
* Must be legally allowed to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
* This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of the work location.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment an asset.

* Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
* Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
