argenx is opening 2 internship positions within argenx' R&D team (Discovery/Preclinical Product Development) for master's thesis students, incl. international students, seeking to gain their first hands-on experience in an industry setting during the academic year 2026 - 2027.

About the role
As a Student Intern within the R&D team, you will contribute to (early-stage) research activities that support the creation of novel therapeutic antibodies. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assist in laboratory experiments related to antibody discovery and engineering, protein characterization, mechanism-of-action studies and assay development;
* Support data collection, analysis, and documentation (electronic lab notebook) in compliance with internal standards;
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on experimental design and results;
* Read and present scientific literature;
* Adhere to safety and quality guidelines.

Profile
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student with a passion for science and innovation.
* Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field);
* Supervised by a mentor affiliated with an European academic institution;
* Familiar with basic laboratory skills and techniques (molecular biology [e.g. PCR, RT-PCR, cloning], biochemistry [ELISA, SDS-PAGE, WB], cell culture); experience in an academic or industry lab is a plus;
* Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn new methods;
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment;
* Fluent in English (written and spoken), our corporate language.
