Human Resources Trainee - Sheraton Brussels Airport

POSITION PURPOSE
Assist the Human Resources team in the general organization of human resources department and services to the employees and in the day-to-day operations by carrying out various administrative tasks. Replace the Human Resources Manager during her absence.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Respond to applications
* Prepare contracts/employment certificates
* Prepare new employee files and introduce them to the hotel * Assist employees with administration
* Follow up on medical/incapacity certificates * Report and follow up on worker's compensation administration
* Handle requests and correspondence from interim agencies
* File and organize daily paperwork
* Organize staff celebrations (staff party, birthday, retirement, Christmas etc.).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Languages: French and English (Dutch is a plus)
* Motivation, good communication skills and flexibility
* Interest in responsibility and autonomy.
