Position Overview
L.E.K. Consulting is seeking talented and highly motivated students to join our Internship Program. The program is designed for undergraduate students in the penultimate or final year of their degree and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategy consulting.
The internship lasts a minimum of six months and may continue for up to two years, depending on the student's graduation timeline, performance, and business needs.
As an Intern, you will become an integral member of our consulting teams, working alongside colleagues at different levels of seniority on strategic projects across a broad range of industries and business topics.
Throughout the internship, you will contribute to different stages of consulting engagements, support the development of insights and recommendations, and receive ongoing guidance and feedback from experienced consultants.
The Internship Program provides an immersive introduction to life at L.E.K. and an opportunity to develop the analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills required for a career in strategy consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting the structuring and analysis of complex business problems using logical and hypothesis-driven thinking;
* Conducting research on markets, companies, competitors, customers, and industry trends;
* Collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data;
* Contributing to analyses such as market sizing, benchmarking, opportunity assessments, and scenario development;
* Supporting the development and maintenance of spreadsheets, analytical models, charts, presentations, and other project materials;
* Synthesizing information and identifying key findings, implications, and takeaways for discussion with the project team;
* Participating in internal team meetings and contributing ideas, hypotheses, and analytical perspectives;
* Supporting the preparation of materials for client presentations and interactions;
* Collaborating across different stages of a project and adapting to the specific needs of each engagement;
* Using digital tools, databases, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the efficiency and quality of research and analysis.
