Summer Start Dates: - May 11th, 2026 - May 18th, 2026 - May 26th, 2026 - June 8th, 2026 - June 22nd, 2026 About the team The E-Commerce Compliance Manager team drives the compliance review, build compliance business strategy and roadmap for TikTok Shop (LATAM). The Compliance Manager intern will support cross-functional teams to establish compliance solutions and assist management to fully understand risk level and make decisions on actionable mitigation plans. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Responsible for a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements from the targeted countries, legislative changes, etc., and be capable of doing proactive analyses on e-commerce platform compliance systematically; - Provide risk-based solutions to business teams; - Responsible for building compliance product strategy and roadmap for TikTok Shop (LATAM); - Collaborate with legal, public policy and safety teams to evaluate compliance strategy and impacts on products and processes; - Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders from business teams, data security teams, and global legal teams to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks, to implement risk and compliance solutions, and to respond to user escalations; - Lead compliance-related project management throughout product lifecycle, managing cross-functional efforts including business development, product design, engineering and go-to-market; - Lead internal communications about compliance strategy, ensure implementation, and resolve blocking issues; - Be familiar with the regulation and governance of e-commerce platforms, train business departments on key compliance issues, promote the e-commerce ecosystem and compliance-by-design, and improve process efficiency and effectiveness

Profil requis du candidat:

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above - Able to make risk-based decisions and drive alignment among diverse teams; - Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; - Availability to intern for 12 weeks during Summer 2026 Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with e-commerce, privacy related compliance issues, business analytics, and making data-driven decisions; - Understanding and experience in compliance, public policy, law and regulation is a plus; - Any experience related to e-commerce, product, legal, consulting/advisory, data security and privacy compliance, product management and/or product counseling experience is a plus; By submitting an application for this role, you accept and agree to our global applicant privacy policy, which may be accessed here: https://jobs.bytedance.com/en/legal/privacy
