Ready to be part of the action?Working with the Operational Tax Team, the Analyst's primary focus is to support the team on billing for SIES Special Handling and Issuer Services Pricing (ISP) Event Management. The Analyst will also assist in a timely and accurate completion of daily reconciliation as assigned, and research various tax related issues in International tax matters

This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Montreal, QC or Toronto, TO.

Key Accountabilities:
* Manage the Special Handling Billing spreadsheet for SIES and RM, and ensure all billing details are logged on a given month's tab.
* Access the customer account/profile in Workday, and request for a new customer ID or an update to an existing ID if necessary.
* Prepare the CDS Innovations monthly manual billing for SIES and RM, and submit for approval in a timely manner.
* Submit CDS Clearing manual billing for Event Management when necessary, and submit for approval in a timely manner.
* Review the Issuer Services Agent Billing Exception Report daily and identify securities that are eligible for issuer billing and require a Billing Agent ID assigned.
* Review and respond to all inquiries relating to Special Handling and Event Management billing.
* Coordinate with Billinggroup, Finance, Customer Support, CDS Eligibility and CDS Onboarding regarding customer account status, fees charged, manual billings and adjustments.
* Prepare operational reconciliation reports of outstanding cash balances for multiple bank accounts, research and resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries from SIES Operations, Banking and Treasury.
* Assist with the investment of early entitlements in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
* Ensure resolution of any outstanding cash balances is completed in a timely fashion.
* International tax - assist with the research for Non-Resident withholding, remitting and reporting requirements in some jurisdictions.

Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people.
* Basic understanding and working knowledge of the Canadian Securities Industry & the Global Capital Markets.
* Proactive & highly self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
* Strong knowledge of various PC software systems (Google Suite, Microsoft tools, etc.)
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize in order to meet strict deadlines in a time sensitive environment.
* Excellent problem solving, writing and research skills.
* Have an interest in the capital markets.

Nice To Have Skills:
* Understanding of tax concepts and their application to industry practices.

* 4 months internship : May 4, 2026 - August 28, 2026
* In order to be considered for the position, you are required to submit your Knockri Assessment.

Salary Range: $20/hour - $25/hour CAD
