General Summary:
Key Responsibilities
* Support editorial coordination for the two 6G books, ensuring consistency, clarity, and quality across chapters.
* Assist with technical editing, including language polishing, structure alignment, and terminology consistency (Chinese-English as needed).
* Track chapter progress, versions, and review comments; help maintain editorial schedules aligned with July delivery.
* Consolidate and format inputs from multiple authors into publisher-ready drafts.
* Support preparation of figures, tables, references, and captions to meet publication requirements.
* Assist in cross-checking technical content for coherence across chapters (e.g., terminology, acronyms, references).
* Provide general editorial and documentation support to the book project leads.
Required Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program major is flexible (communications-related background preferred; editing-related majors are also welcome).
* Ability to edit technical content is essential.
* Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work with technical documents (Word, PowerPoint, PDFs) and manage multiple document versions.
* Interest in 6G, wireless communications, AI, devices, or security is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with technical writing, editing, or academic publications.
* Familiarity with wireless communications, AI, or security concepts.
* Chinese-English bilingual capability for technical materials.
Deliverables & Outcomes
* Editorially polished, consistent drafts of both books ready for final submission by July.
* Well-organized chapter materials and review records supporting on-time project completion.
Reporting & Collaboration
* Work closely with the book editors and chapter leads.
* Coordinate with contributors across different technical domains as needed.
