Technical Translator Intern

Technical Translator

* Proofread and edit machine-translated technical documents from English to Chinese to meet quality standards.
* Ensure translations accurately reflect the original content's meaning, format, and tone, and correct terminology is consistently used.
* Create, update, and manage glossary terms to ensure consistent terminology and adherence to established quality standards.
* Organize and manage translation files and records.
* Prepare translated files for publishing.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Postgraduate student is preferred.
* Major in English translation, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.
* Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in translations.
* Ability to leverage AI technologies for translation tasks and contribute to the development of translation automation tools is an advantage.
* Experience in glossary management or desktop publishing is a plus.
* Fast learner, self-motivated, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
* Good interpersonal and communication skill.
* At least 3 days a week; candidate who can work for 6 months is preferred. Remote work policy also applies.
