Position Summary
With direct supervision, responsible for participating in development opportunities to learn the various aspects of the EHS function at Parker Hannifin.
Responsibilities
* Acquire knowledge of various EHS departments' operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
* Observe work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.
* Learn and assist in development of EHS systems and processes focusing on the areas of safety culture, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
* Maintain communication with program coach/mentor (if assigned) to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.
* Attend related training (if applicable) and apply training in work assignments.
* Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
* Enrolled in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in a related EHS field such as: Engineering, Science or EHS Equivalent program.
* Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week in Mayfield Heights, OH during Summer 2026.
* Ability to work effectively in a variety of EHS and manufacturing assignments.
* Working knowledge of environmental and safety concepts and demonstrated application.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
