Description du poste:

(COMPANY NAME) is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer Intern (Summer) who is interested in participating on environmental consulting projects in Irvine, California. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on a variety of interesting environmental-related projects across the scope of our technical service areas with multiple clients. This is a great opportunity to work with (COMPANY NAME)'s technical experts to build experience within the environmental consulting industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Participate in preparation of environmental compliance plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater projects.
* Assist in data interpretation and preparation of (COMPANY NAME) deliverables including site workplans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.
* Assist with Phase I and II environmental assessments to support property transfer transactions.
* Focus on team project delivery, taking direction primarily from Project Managers.
* Provide support to internal Project Managers by assisting in ensuring work product is within compliance of all federal, state and local regulations.
* Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
* Support (COMPANY NAME) employees on multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Currently working towards a BS or MS in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, or other related discipline; Minimum 3.2 GPA.
* Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
* Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
* Local candidates preferred.
* This internship is a part-time role expected to last approximately 2-3 months.

For the Environmental Engineer Intern (Internship) position, we anticipate the hourly base pay of $20 - $25 (CAD/USD). An employee's pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above.
