Primary Function of Position
We are looking for a Data Science Intern who will support our Global Operations teams. Minimizing supply chain risk and optimizing our manufacturing operations help surgeons and their associated institutions succeed in providing better patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in data analytics including visualization and use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and advanced data and AI techniques to interpret key findings from company data and translate these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.
Essential Job Duties
* Work with business users to identify opportunities for data science value adds
* Research/Model data and build comprehensive reports and dashboards that enhance business area
* Use business data, statistical methods and/or suitable ML techniques to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations.
* Present insights and recommendations to management for judgment making and strategic planning.
* Work with data analysts and business users in Global Operations to enable reports that maintain long-term value.
* Utilize cutting edge technologies such as Gen AI to provide business value
* Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards and data products to provide insights at scale, solving for data needs.
* Be a pioneer in the data space and present your research and insights to all levels of the company
