Industrial Designer Trainee

* Educational recommendations: Current MSc students in relevant areas, such as Industrial Design
* Location: Espoo, Finland

As a member of our Design team, you'll help shape user experiences through innovative product design. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers, contributing to the full development process from concept to production. The role offers hands-on experience in designing for mass production, applying new technologies, and creating impactful, user focused solutions.

* Learn the product creation process and collaboration between designers, product managers, and engineers when creating new devices.
* Translate consumer needs and customer requirements into competitive, world-class product concepts.
* Design for mass production using state-of-the-art technology.
* Create products and experiences as part of an in-house design team.
* Work closely with R&D teams across Nokia

Profil requis du candidat:

* Current studies in a Master's program in Industrial Design
* Proficient in 3D design software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
* Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
* Solid rendering skills (KeyShot, Blender)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

It would be nice if you also had:
* Experience with prototyping, workshop and 3D printing
* A self-starting attitude with strong learning agility, strategic thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
* High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information and projects responsibly
* A solid understanding of hardware and technology
