Summer Trainee, Central Equipment Logistics

Centralized Elevator Logistics is a global team of supply chain professionals executing the distribution of elevator and elevator components from KONE European Supply Units.

The main responsibilities of the Logistics Team are to organize shipments for European Supply Units' based on customer requests with the scope to deliver according to the requested delivery schedule. The team monitors and manages inbound and outbound deliveries from KONE Distribution centers, and direct deliveries from factories and external material suppliers to the construction site. The Logistics Team ensures cost effective and punctual execution of logistics together with relevant counterparts.

We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, Central Equipment Logistics to join our team in the fascinating area of global logistics between May and August 2025.

Main responsibilities:
* Coordinating and ensuring on-time transportation
* Shipment document creation and management
* Logistics cost management
* Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
* Participating in continuously improving logistics processes and tools

We are looking for:
* Relevant field of studies, i.e. logistics, business administration or engineering
* Excellent communication skills in English, other languages are an asset
* Good MS Office tools skills
* Ability to work in a hectic and multicultural work environment
* Accuracy and flexibility
* Strong team player with a customer focused mindset
* Most importantly, you are interested in learning new things
* Previous experience of using an ERP system (preferably SAP) is seen as an asset.
