Kickstart your career by helping us innovate power tools! We're seeking an intern who is eager to dive into lithium-ion battery technology, leveraging chemistry and electrochemical understanding to create safer, more efficient lithium-ion batteries. You'll gain hands-on experience working at Hilti as part of our battery research team, actively supporting our research projects
This internship position has a flexible start date and runs for at least 6 months.
What You'll Bring
About you: you are someone who wants to influence your own development. You're looking for a company where you can pursue your interests across functions and geographies, where a job title is not considered a final destination but the starting point.
* Academic Background: Currently pursuing a degree in chemistry, materials science or similar
* Laboratory Experience: Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting is required (e.g., working with gloveboxes)
* Technical Skills: Basic electrochemistry and prior experience in data analysis (e.g., MATLAB) would be beneficial
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required
* Team Spirit: Demonstrated enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic and stimulating international team
* Personal Attributes: Troubleshooting skills and a self-reliant personality are highly valued
