Internship for Autonomous Factory

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Shape the future: Assist in the design, development and testing of digital twin solutions for autonomous factory in industrial environments. This includes creating digital representations of production facilities, modeling material handling systems and analytics of equipment and process data
* Take responsibility: Use simulation results to analyze and optimize material flow processes, identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency and reduce costs. You will work with data analysis tools and techniques to interpret simulation results and make actionable recommendations
* Reliable work: You contribute to the integration of digital twin solutions models with automation systems, such as conveyor belts, robots, and Overhead Hoist Transport systems to create holistic and efficient material handling solutions
* Stakeholder management: You work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, logistics specialists, and industry partners to ensure that digital twin solutions and optimization strategies meet project requirements and industry standards
* Research and Development: You participate in R&D activities focused on advancing Autonomous Factory technologies in Simulation and Advanced Process Control, including exploring new tools, automation protocols, and innovative applications of AI and machine learning

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics or any relevant fields of study
* Minimum CGPA 3.00 and above
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java) and experience with simulation software or platforms (e.g. FlexSim). Familiarity with data analytics tools and machine learning concepts is a plus
* Strong ability to analyze complex systems, identify key issues, and develop creative solutions to optimize material flow and logistics processes
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
* Fluency in English is required
