Demand & Supply Planning Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Scope:
* Assist in demand forecasting activities by analyzing historical data and market trends
* Support supply planning processes to ensure accurate replenishment and inventory optimization
* Monitor inventory levels and highlight potential risks such as stock-outs or excess inventory
* Prepare and maintain planning reports and dashboards
* Assist in data cleansing, validation, and consolidation from multiple sources
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, logistics) to gather inputs for planning
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and systems
* Participate in regular planning meetings and provide data-driven insights

Role Requirements (e.g. Qualifications, skills, work experience etc.):
* Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred / Added Advantage
* Knowledge or experience in SAP (ERP System), Power BI (data visualization, dashboard creation, basic data modeling)
* Basic understanding of supply chain concepts
