Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: On Site.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:
* ​Support the creation and management of Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely processing and delivery.
* Assist in the coordination and tracking of supplier quotations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
* Help manage internal approval workflows, following up with stakeholders to avoid delays.
* Participate in invoice review and validation to ensure alignment with approved quotes and POs.
* Monitor project implementation progress and provide follow-up to ensure deadlines are met.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, operations) to support planning activities.
* Maintain organized records and documentation for all procurement and fulfillment processes.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
* Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with at least one year remaining before graduation in International Relations, International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage and organize data effectively.
* Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.
* Effective communication skills with a proactive approach.
* Outgoing and confident personality, comfortable interacting with different stakeholders.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
