About the job
Are you eager to support Danone-Nutricia bringing best care to its customers through supply chain service? The documentation team (part of Global Distribution & Logistics department) based at our factory in Zoetermeer is looking for a motivated and service-oriented student as our intern to start in July/August. You will be working in the international and multicultural logistics team of Danone's Nutricia Global Distribution & Logistics department located in Zoetermeer. In particular, you will be a part of the Export Documentation team responsible for the export documentation of shipments with destinations outside of the European Union. Nutricia's Global Distribution & Logistics department is a Danone subsidiary responsible for the management of the customs documentation activities of Finished Goods (FG) from all Nutricia Supply Points and 3rd Party manufacturers to all Danone Medical Country Business Units (CBUs), via our centralized warehouse located in Haps, the Netherlands.
Within this internship you will mainly be learning about / working on:
* Assisting in the day-to-day operations of logistics & export documentation processes
* Learning about customs procedures and international trade compliance.
* Maintaining regular communication with the Central Business Unit (CBU) to verify the alignment of export documentation with import permits.
* Establishing close contact with local authorities such as NVWA and COKZ to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Familiarizing oneself with the SAP system and contributing to database updates.
* Reviewing and updating internship work instructions
* Contributing to various strategic projects, including those related to Brexit and continuous process improvement initiatives.
* Supporting KPI tracking and performance analysis to help drive continuous improvement
* Managing and coordinating with various stakeholders such as operational warehouse, supply points, control tower, carriers, etc
* You possess a precise and detail-focused mindset, showcasing robust analytical and quantitative skills.
* Your excellent communication skills, coupled with a proactive and responsible approach enable you to work independently.
* You are fluent in English Notably, Dutch is a plus
* You demonstrate a willingness to engage with both internal and external stakeholders, reflecting curiosity and eagerness to learn.
* Proficiency in advanced Excel skills is also a prerequisite for this role.
* Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
* Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
* For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
* Available to start in July/August 2026 for a minimum of 6 months (preferably longer), 5 days per week.
