Internship - Internal Audit

Introduction

Join ASML's Internal Audit (IA) department and help us make the company safer and more efficient. Our team performs audits across business processes, IT security, and global locations to ensure risks are managed effectively. During this internship, you will learn how audits contribute to improving processes and reducing risks. If you are curious about how a multinational operates and want to gain hands-on experience, this internship is for you.

Your assignment

You will support the audit team during fieldwork and reporting stages. Your main responsibilities will be:
* Assist in interviews with auditees and gather relevant information.
* Execute audit procedures, including reviewing process documentation.
* Perform test procedures and data analyses to validate controls.
* Help draft reports and discuss observations with the lead auditor and audit manager.
This is an apprentice internship for a minimum of 5 months, 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
* Are enrolled in a bachelor's or (pre-)master's degree in auditing, business administration, business economics, industrial engineering and management, IT, or data analytics.
* Are looking for practical work experience (not a study assignment).
* Have a critical mindset and proactive attitude.
* Communicate effectively in English, both formally and informally.
* Enjoy working in a team and have strong social skills.

Other requirements you need to meet:
* You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
* Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
* You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
* If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
