What To Expect
Start date: September 2026

Location: Amsterdam

Duration: 6 months

Time type: Full-time (40 hours a week)

Please note that you have to be enrolled in your education throughout the whole internship period

The Customer Communications team connects Tesla with the right audience through the right message at the right time. We achieve this by owning and optimizing direct-to-customer channels, enabling teams to see the bigger picture, and delivering clear, actionable insights from both quantitative data and qualitative understanding. The Customer Communications Intern will be responsible for executing on, creating and distributing content across the EMEA region, working to improve the user experience of both our internal stakeholders and our customers. The Customer Communications intern will support to create, localize and build campaigns across multiple communication channels (email, in-app, SMS). The Customer Communications intern will gain hands-on experience across channel management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, all while helping shape how Tesla speaks to its customers.

What You'll Do

* Manage end-to-end execution of communication campaigns (email, in-app, SMS).
* Pull and analyze campaign performance data, translating metrics into clear takeaways and recommendations
* Support segmentation and targeting efforts to ensure the right customers receive the right message at the right time
* Work with internal stakeholders across (Customer Engagement field) teams to gather inputs, align on messaging priorities, and share insights
* Contribute to dashboards, reports, and presentations that help the broader organization understand customer engagement trends
* Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve communication quality, and enhance team efficiency

What You'll Bring

* Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. A second European language is a plus.
* Genuinely passionate about customer experience, clear communication, and finding smarter ways to get things done
* Familiarity (or eagerness to learn) with project management tools like Jira - you'll help set up and maintain ticket flows to keep the team organized and on track
* Naturally curious - you stay up to date on emerging tools, trends, and technologies and love figuring out how to apply them
* A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and isn't afraid to ask questions, experiment, and propose new ideas
