Intern (Accounts Payable)

Description du poste:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Intern (Accounts Payable) to join our finance team on a civil contract for 1 year, 32h weekly. The successful candidate will support daily accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and compliance with internal accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Process and record vendor invoices accurately and on time
* Match invoices with purchase orders
* Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with payment terms
* Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
* Maintain accurate and well-organized accounts payable records
* Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
* Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries
* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements & Qualifications
* Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 0-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar junior accounting role
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong communication skills
