Location: Krakow, Poland
Start date: July 2026
Duration of the internship: 1 year, following Cisco's hybrid work policy.
Full time internship during the summer (July 2026 - September 2026).
Possibility to change to a part-time internship - with minimum 24h/week availability for the remaining year.

Key Responsibilities

Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including applications, operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools. Scales systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolves systems to improve reliability, supportability, and velocity.

Minimum qualifications
* Penultimate or final-year students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (must keep student status during the internship)
* You are fluent in English both written and verbal
* Individuals eager to grow their technical skills through hands-on experience
* Those who are proactive, curious, and excited to work on impactful projects
* You are able to live and work in Poland with no additional VISA sponsorship from Cisco.

Preferred qualifications
* Strong programming foundation in Python and/or TypeScript
* Sharp logical thinking and a natural drive for problem solving
* Fast learners who can adapt quickly to new tools, concepts, and challenges
* Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
