Your mission will be…

* Support financial reporting activities - assist the team in the preparation and analysis of IFRS consolidated financial statements and on various accounting topics according to IFRS and HGB, including consolidation bookings, plausibility checks, evaluations, cash flow analysis, and conducting research & documentation;
* Support in the development and updating of training and project documents;
* Drive digitalization, AI & process optimization - leverage Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Python, and AI platforms to build dashboards, automate workflows, and develop AI bots
* Support the preparation of presentations for internal communication, management meetings, and cross-functional community calls, including presenting your own work and innovations to broader audiences
* Support SRE's EU Taxonomy (EUT) reporting - contribute to developing and enhancing future-oriented, integrated reporting processes and IT landscape for EU Taxonomy, and other ESG-relevant reporting topics, particularly CSRD

We are looking for someone with…

* A business administration, real estate management, sustainability, IT or a comparable course of study;
* Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint; knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or Python is a plus;
* Excellent English language skills, with proficiency in German being a plus;
* Familiarity with or strong curiosity about AI tools - experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar), prompt engineering, or building AI bots is a significant plus
* A strong interest in financial and non financial reporting, with a solid foundation in accounting principles;
* A hands-on, analytical, and customer-oriented approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and in international virtual teams;
* A rounded off profile by team orientation, reliability, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently;
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
* An "explorer" mindset - eager to experiment with new technologies (AI, automation, data visualization), challenge existing processes, and continuously develop your skills and knowledge
