Software Engineer Trainee

Nokia's Mobile Infrastructure group provides network and cloud solutions across various segments. The Nokia Assurance Center, a multi-vendor assurance solution, utilizes a modern cloud-native approach and leverages Bell Labs AI and ML technology alongside Nokia Orchestration Center to enable automated operations within Nokia's Digital & Operations Center.
We are looking for a skilled software engineer. You would be working with specifying, designing, implementing and testing software. You also support our program planning and agile activities in the team.

* Autonomously performs tasks with a moderate level of guidance and within guidelines and policies.
* Analyses, designs, develops and tests products / services / improvements / bug resolutions for integrated hardware / software systems as per customers' requirements.
* Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems / issues (EG hardware, software, combination) and provides resolution or recommend corrective actions.
* Plans technical requirements from customers' needs.
* Develops SW build-controlled productions releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering)

Knowledge & Experience
* Apply engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair-programming, and software refactoring.
* Be an advocate of the SW craftsmanship, believe in agile & lean values and have the quality first mindset.
* Embrace best engineering practices, focusing on Continuous Improvement and Continuous Delivery mindsets.
* Knowledge in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java17+, C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, React), using and creating containers & container management tools like Kubernetes.
* Knowledge in REST services and API usage and design (JSON, REST, Swagger).

It would be nice if you also had:
* Database knowledge/interest: SQL/HQL or Oracle or MariaDB or RDBMS.
* Knowledge in Kafka, Apache Nifi, Grafana and Zabbix.
* Knowledge of Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, GitLab).
* Knowledge of Test automation (e.g., Junit, Jest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber) and Test-driven development.
* Knowledge of dependency management (e.g., Webpack, Maven, Gradle, npm)
