The Executive Office Intern provides high-level administrative and operational support to the General Manager and the Hotel Leadership Team. This role is designed for a future leader who wants to understand the complexities of hotel management, including financial performance, guest satisfaction (HeartBeat), and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support to the General Manager
* Manage the GM's calendar, including scheduling high-priority meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
* Prepare agendas, take minutes during HOD meetings, and follow up on action items.
* Draft professional correspondence in English to VIP guests, corporate offices, and hotel owners.
2. Guest Relations & VIP Handling
* Monitor guest feedback through IHG's "HeartBeat" system and assist the GM in drafting personalized responses to high-profile reviews.
* Coordinate the arrival of VIP guests, ensuring their preferences are met and personalized welcome amenities are arranged.
* Assist in conducting "Quality Walks" with the GM to ensure the property meets brand standards.
3. Strategic Projects & Reporting
* Assist in compiling data for monthly and quarterly owner reports.
* Conduct market research on local competitors and industry trends to support the GM's strategic decisions.
* Manage special "Ad-Hoc" projects, such as sustainability initiatives (IHG Green Engage) or community CSR programs.
4. Inter-Departmental Liaison
* Act as a point of contact for department heads to ensure the smooth flow of information to the Executive Office.
* Assist in organizing management retreats, town hall meetings, and internal leadership events
