Intern - Organising National Youth Tech Championship 2026

We are looking for interns to join our Digital Literacy and Wellness division from May-Jul 2026.

Project Scope
* Event Operations & Logistics Management
- Develop operational plans including venue coordination, participant registration systems, scheduling protocols, and equipment management procedures.
- Work with appointed vendors and volunteer teams to implement logistics plans and gather feedback on operational efficiency.

* Participant Experience & Engagement
- Conduct research on youth engagement strategies and participant journey mapping for technology competitions and educational events.
- Work with participant teams and mentors to implement engagement initiatives and gather feedback from participants.

* Competition Design & Technical Coordination
- Work with technical judges, mentors, and pilot groups to test competition elements and gather feedback on challenge difficulty, fairness, and learning outcomes.

Learning Outcomes
* Stakeholder Management & Communication - Work with diverse groups and develop the ability to tailor communication styles effectively
* Technology Integration and Digital Coordination - Gain exposure to various digital platforms for registration, communication, judging systems, and participant management.
* Crisis Management and Problem Solving - Gain experience in decision-making, creative problem-solving while ensuring the event runs smoothly.
* Youth Engagement and Community Building - Develop skills in engaging with young participants, understanding their motivations, and creating an inclusive environment that encourages participation and learning.

Requirements
* Experience in organising events, conferences, or competitions
* Experience working with youth participants or educational programmes would be advantageous
* Familiarity with technology events, hackathons, or STEM competitions preferred but not essential
* Organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement across diverse groups
