Internship - Failure Analysis Engineer

The student, as part of the Failure Analysis team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake projects working on Infineon's Frame Power Module Products.

Job Description
In your new role you will:
* Assist in the evaluation and improvement of failure analysis methods and tools used for new products transfer.
* Work closely with the Failure Analysis team to examine the current methodology and identify areas for improvement.
* Analyse of complex failure analysis data and provide recommendations
Learning outcomes:

* Gain hands-on experience with failure analysis tools, including scanning electron microscopes (SEMs), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), and X-ray computed tomography (CT)
* Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving through the application of innovative failure analysis techniques and tools
* Develop a sense of professionalism and a commitment to ongoing learning and development in the field of failure analysis

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* Bachelor's degree 3rd or 4th year in Electrical & Electronic / Material Science / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or any related disciplines
* Team player with a research-oriented mindset
* Interest in failure analysis
* 4 positions available
