Our Search Architecture Team is responsible for building up and optimizing the architecture for our Search Engine to provide the best experience for our TikTok Search users. This person will be responsible for the design and development of the search system architecture, ensuring system stability and high availability; responsible for online services, offline data flow performance optimization, solving performance bottlenecks, reducing costs and unlocking. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Responsibilities - Solve core architecture optimization problems for large-scale search engines including retrieval, ranking, and recall systems - Design and implement heterogeneous computing architectures supporting large-scale machine learning model optimization in search scenarios - Build high-concurrency, low-latency search system architectures supporting high-throughput global user query processing

Profil requis du candidat:

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline - Proficient coding skills and strong algorithm & data structure knowledge using C++/Python/Java - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in information retrieval, search engine development, or machine learning system development - Experience in distributed computing, storage systems, or large-scale system design - Strong sense of ownership and ability to work in globally distributed team environments
