Junior Accountant - VIE Contract

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

About the job

As Junior Accountant VIE within our Finance team, you'll support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and liaise with the tax stakeholder, as well as provide support on the Group legal restructuring projects and the statutory audit process and manage the stakeholder communication between auditors and Hubs.

Main responsibilities:
* Exposure to end-to-end A2R processes across a complex, multi-entity market (UK, Vicebio, BPM UK), providing a strong foundation in statutory and management accounting in an international environment.
* Active involvement in transformation projects, including legal entity restructurings, balance sheet analytical reviews, and ERP/system integrations - giving the VIE hands-on experience in Finance Services evolution.
* Cross-functional collaboration with Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams, as well as exposure to S2P activity transfers, building a broad Finance skillset.
* Skills for the future: highlight competencies such as process improvement mindset, digital finance tools, compliance in a regulated environment, and stakeholder management across geographies.

About you

Experience:
* Experience of compliance and regulatory process.

Soft and technical skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities of working with the stakeholders.
* Analytical and problem-solving capabilities by analysing the data.
* Time management and organizational skills of building relationships.
* Knowledge of Tax and VAT processes and drafting statutory documents.
* Knowledge of International accounting principles.

Education:
* Master's Degree in economics/accounting/tax.

Languages:
* Advanced English knowledge.
